Today I'm gunna talk about an interesting topic.
Try to think of a story.
It may be like fairytales; short and simple.
It's like you bring a princess into a castle, when evil people captured her. Then you get a prince to save her.
Main thing is, you create a main character, create sub characters and there's always the evil people or antagonists. Put a character into a situation, then something happens, and evil people are always getting in the character's way. Then in the end there is always a solution.
That's how a simple story is created.
That's how people create a story that actually attracts fame and attention, and they make things more complicated and created more situations for the character to solve.
Think of it like a typical teenage school life story. A girl falls in love with the boy, another girl gets jealous and tried to... stop her. but in the end the girl gets to be with the boy.
So you get a simple story.
But you know, usually the good people always win, and either the bad people always lose or die. That stinks.
What I am really... irritated is that people are using 'light' for good and 'dark' for evil. That irritates me a lot. D:
Example: a 'dark force' is coming and the 'light' or good people must battle the 'dark force'. It's like... Katekyo Hitman Reborn and Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne.
Then people are always making dark forces INSANE. Yeah, that's a newest trend. People then follow this kind of trend, which makes me irritated.
Then something happens, it becomes
emotional, that's what I hate. Then make it soooo complicated I became confused. Like Pandora Hearts. *sigh*
Nowadays I can't find a good japanese comic or anime anymore cus they are always using the same ideas. -_-
But oh well. Let's not talk about unhappy times. So you get the idea:
1:create a situation
2: Create a few main characters
3: Create the bad gys(can be omitted)
4: Create a solution/ending
The 4 important points to make a good short story. (i... think.)
Why don't you make your own short story or something like that?
I have mine.
