Lemme tell you this: I agree with what YouTube user cookiewaa said(in Grandia II OST Granas Santuary video)
grandia 2 might have a simple and cliche story but they did so much in developing the characters and added some excellent music that the game became an uber awesome experience. most games nowadays have innovative system but sucky story or undeveloped characters. (ff12 (arguably) ff13 (seriously. the story sucked and the character dev is an epic fail. E.G:snow.)) its like after ff10, final fantasy lost its soul T.T its just sad..
Yeah. Graphics aren't everything. Even Grandia 3. The Japanese did so much, worked TOO much on the graphics. Then, in the end. story sucks. Even though it has the 'best battle system' as what people said, the story isn't good.
Grandia 2 has a really good story plot and characters. It also has an epic plot twist, and that the music is just... NORIYUKI IWADARE style, which adds to the UBER-EPICNESS of the game.
And I'd like to say that, nowadays games aren't very... good anymore. It's just a stupid graphic-picture motion gallery. Well I dunno what to say but, the story just isn't... good enough. It's not even good.
... I do hope the Japanese people can understand and can work seriously on the story plot and the character development. Graphics isn't everything you know.
Anyway, ENUF OF DA RAMBLIN'. GOT SOME GOOD MUSIC TO RECOMMEND. :DDD

Oh yeah, speaking of Okami, I CAN'T WAIT TO REPAIR MY DS AND BUY OKAMI DS VERSION!!! lol I said that already in the previous post.
I REALLY LIKE Okami. I like the story and the graphics. And the MUSIC. I just don't ****ing understand WHY it HAD TO BE the LEAST COMMERCIALLY SUCCESSFUL game of 2006. I What the hell-ed. It doesn't even MAKE SENSE, since it is REALLY RARE to find SUCH good GAMES that work hard on a lot of aspects, ESPECIALLY music AND story plot. And graphics too of course.
I just don't understand people.
Takes a lot to make a good game... huh.
